Do you have particularly oily hair and can’t get by without washing it every day? Or are you simply too busy to wash your hair?
Sometimes it’s not possible, nor is it a good idea, to wash our hair too often (see our blog on optimum hair washing). Well, there’s always Dry Shampoo. Dry Shampoo absorbs the natural oils of your hair. When your hair is greasy, it’s usually the roots that are affected. Applying a dry shampoo to the roots gets your hair looking clean and refreshed.
Dry Shampoo also helps to add volume to thin hair. And if you’ve got blonde hair, it can help to play down any regrowth.
You can brush or wash it out. Don’t keep re-applying dry shampoo day after day, you’ll get a build up on the scalp.
An alternative to Dry Shampoo is Talcum Powder. Don’t apply too much, just at the roots and rub it in lightly.
